In a previous post, we discussed regions and union territories of India. I hope that helped you a little to understand India!🙂

Now, Let me take you to the tour of the East Region.

East India 

The ruling ground of many ancient empires, East India has a strong ethnic culture, tradition, and religious food. Because of its climate, this region grows a lot of rice! Green vegetables and fruit are also abundant. People, though are a balanced mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Rich in ancient heritage, it has many places to visit. Some famous dishes of East India are- Litti Chokha, Dhuska, Pakhala, Aloo potol posto, Macher jhol. Festivals are celebrated all around every year.

Dear visitors, States which comes under the East Region are-

1. Bihar

2. Jharkhand

3. Odisha

4. West Bengal And 

5. Andaman Nicobar (A union territory which comes near this region).

So, these were the states that come under the east region, these places in themselves have a great contribution to the history of INDIA. Every state is beautiful in its own manner in aspects of tradition, culture, food, or different things. You can see each aspect of these states whether rural or urban.
